Holiday Tags :: With Birds-n-Stuff
I was in a mad rush last night to get more tags made! YAY for tags! These tags are all new - yet no so improved (you'll hear why in a sec).
Using yet another Marvy punch (I swear they are not paying me to plug them like I am - but hey Marvy folks.. you can if you want to ok!)...I mean I like free punches as much as the next crafter right!?!
Anyway.. I wanted to make a more traditional tag shape for you guys. So I purchased the Giga Marvy Tag Punch this past weekend. You can find it for sale on line HERE and HERE.
There is good news and bad bad news. The good news is that these tags are really easy to cut out by hand! YEIGH! The bad news is that I just now found out that this punch has been discontinued. BOOO! The other bad news is that I did a horrific job of getting this shape to match with the tag (that's even more of a BOOO). It gets a little weird towards the top part (on the angle). I mean it's pretty close but it's not right on. So give me a day and I'll fix it ok! I can't be putting out some sloppy ole tags. It would not be right.
You might also notice that this punch has kind a weird flat top. On the pattern I made the top rounded like a traditional tag - but once you punch them the top will get chopped off. That's normally going to be ok because your ribbon will cover that part up. I recommend doing the ink pad around the side trick like I showed you HERE. I really really think you need to try it at least once so you can see how utterly fab it is! Trust me ok!
Since lots of folks seem to like birds I decided to make bird tags...
