For reals? Another giveaway Lolly?!?!?! Heck yeah peeps! WOO HOO!
For my last night in Chicago I had a lovely dinner with several Sizzix folks and received a lovely package... inside the package was a fabulous Sizzix die!
Since it's one I already own, I figured I would share my spare with you guys (cause I really loves the lot of yas and appreciate you hanging out with me this past week)!
But first... prepare yourself for the fastest tutorial in the west!
Below are a few shots of the little altered buggy I did for CHA...
(and it's gonna be a super fast how-to cause I am at home now and hanging with my RonChops and puppies)
I started with some plain jane white Petaloo flowers...
(just a few... or a few hundred... ahem...)...
See... that's not too bad right guys?
Sooo.... does he look familiar?????
Can you guys believe it!?!?!?!?!!
Sarah from Main Mummy made this little fella for me...
...from scratch...
...by looking at this...
I am seriously impressed.... seriously.
(thanks a TON Sarah)!!!
I slathered those flowers in two new fabulous Shimmerz paint colors... Peas Be Mine and Blue By You!
I stacked and glued the flowers together and placed a little gem in the center...
(are you guys still with me or are you freaked out by the crochet cricket... cause I am slightly in awe over here)
(can you imagine what a first time reader to my blog must be thinking...)
(I bet they run away scared and confused... we have a lot of inside jokes over here don't we girls?!?!?!)
I spray painted the little buggy white...
We aren't going to mention the little dress form... ever ever again.
(ever)
(again)
(ever)
I cut out a few felt leaves using my new Sizzix "Leaves, Plain" die.
(it was less than 100... I think)
...and then I glued them to the inside of the buggy...
...and added more flowers...
(cause I might have had a few (dozen) left over)
I took some Webster's Pages teal rose trim and glued that to the inside rim...
...and then I forgot to take pics of the absolute finished buggy with the extra trim cut off...
.cause I'm a dork like that.
.for reals.
Sew... you are wondering who won the die I bet...
Before we get to that... this is the next die I am giving away...
It's the Create-A-Bow die (again from my buddy Eileen Hull)!
(who I got to hug on Wednesday evening)
I made this with it...
Those little painted and distressed balsa pickets are from that very die!!!
(remember... Sizziz dies are for more than they say they are for)
(and that wasn't confusin at all was it????)
The winner of the Sizzix Scoreboards Rectangle Box die is... comment #134 (as randomly called out by RonChops...) Paula Akers! YAY for Paula! I'll email you to get your address so Sizzix can send you your die!
Sew... if you would like a chance to win the Create-A-Bow die... all you have to do to enter is...
LEAVE ME MORE HUGS!
(cause I'm easy like that)!
I'll leave this giveaway open until next Sunday evening (Aug 8) and will announce the winner in Monday's post!
I hope you guys had fun with me this past week at CHA! I sure had fun posting and sharing everything with you... and I'll share a few more pics soon!
P.S. I might be taking off this Monday from the blog... cause I am one tired out LollyChops!
P.S.S.T. XOXOXOXOXO's
