Cards for Crystal... the final post!!!!

Hi everyone!  I am thrilled to let you know that today is my friend Crystal's last day of treatment in her battle against breast cancer!  You may remember that several months ago I shared her story and asked if some of you might consider sending me a card or two to give to her each day to help lift her spirits!

Well... the response was overwhelming!!!  Here we are 8 months later and she's got a little less hair and a whole lotta cards on her desk (close to 300 in fact)...

Crystal wrote you guys a little letter and even let me take a picture of her amongst her cards!  Enjoy the last of the cards and stick around till the end cause I have a little giveaway to share in appreciation for everything you all did!

A little note from Crystal...
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined there were so many giving, kind, and extremely
creative and talented folks who would take the time and effort to do this wonderful thing for little ol' me! All of the cards and gifts so warmed my heart and I truly believe helped keep me going. Just knowing that there were so many people praying me through this time makes me more thankful and humble than I can put into words. Every day I came into work, I knew there would be something totally unique and beautiful to look at, words of encouragement, and sometimes something sweet to eat from around the globe! (Mozart's Balls now surpass M&M's in my book! I laugh every time I think of them!) My workspace is now a virtual blizzard of beauty and you should see the jaws drop when people see it for the first time!

I've finally reached the end of the hardest part and I know things will only get better from here - with a whole new perspective on friendships, family relationships and just life in general. And HAIR! (Never take it for granted, girls!!) I'll treasure this for the rest of my life. I wish I could personally hug each and every neck (that's Texan for a big hug!) because words are totally inadequate for how I feel.

Lolly, my good friend - thank you so much for this. I was totally surprised and overwhelmed, and my Mom cried when I told her about this. You are simply one of the best human beings on earth. And if you'll Photoshop off a few lbs in any photos of me you post I'll elevate you to the best human being in the universe!

Soooo...  whew!  Can you even believe how many there are and how simply amazing everything is!

It warms my heart that so many people chipped in and helped me with this card drive!
I wish you could have seen first hand how touched Crystal was by your generosity!
It was pretty darn amazing!

I cannot thank you all enough!
