Happy Thanksgiving friends! I hope everyone is having the most wonderful day! Thanks for joining me for week 4 of the Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop! Today's featured die is called Frame and Frame Back, 3D Pro Scoreboards Die and it was designed by the lovely Elieen Hull! You can check it out HERE!
I decided to turn my frame into a mini shadow box! I have seen these all over the place and have been looking forward to creating one of my very own! I choose papers, stickers and chipboard elements from the Crate Paper - Snow Day Collection! You can see the whole collection HERE!
Below are a few close up pics of my project!
I created a little open box out of paper and mounted my Sizzix frame elements right on top!
It's super easy to do!
(psst... I'll do a little UStream show on The LollyChops Channel on how to put this little fella together sometime in December... so keep your eyeballs peeled)!
I created layer upon layer inside the frame by using Zapdots from Helmar in between each element!
The snow border at the top is created using the coolest stuff ever!
It's called Glistening Snow Tex and it's by DecoArt! You can check it out HERE!
I loves me some snow borders!
I designed another Cricut cutting file for the ScrapStasher's class at The Little Blue House last month (kinda like the trees I created in October - seen HERE)! The ScrapStasher's girls have been having so much fun with the latest template!!!
One of my students (also a ScrapStasher) came in for a class with me last week (Hi, Linn!!!). She brought in her project in so I could check it out (she's totally and completely the inspiration for the snow border I created today)! Thanks a ton for sharing your project with me Linn!!!
Pictured above is a little peep of her project! I can't wait to show you the whole thing! It's gonna knock your socks off!!!
I'll share Linn's full project plus the whole 9 yards on how you can make your very own version next Monday!
I hope you're all having the most wonderful day! Thanksgiving HUGS from The Chops Family to each and every one of you!
