The thank you giveaway...

The past two weeks have been completely and totally amazing!  You guys have shown me so much love! I am 110% overwhelmed and humbled by it all! I thought it would be a good time to do a little big giveaway and share some of the pictures from the Live with Prima at The Little Blue House party from last week! We had yodeling, teal cupcakes and tons of teal decked out ladies for the party!  I loved every single second of it!

The Live with Prima Fiasco
The show insane.  Insane mostly for me.  I couldn't get all my stuff prepared ahead of time because I didn't have enough supplies to pre-cut my project pieces as I normally do... so in short...  I was a total maniac.  I have never made that many mistakes and been that flustered on camera ever before.  It was completely AWESOME! You must watch me fumble and cut things incorrectly (you can see it HERE)!  I am shaking my head and laughing just thinking about it!

I want to share a few pics of the girls who came to The Little Blue House card class before the show! 

I personally want to thank each and every single one of them (there were two rooms full and I only captured one room of girls cause I was running around like a crazy person)!  I was floored... as each girl was driving up and getting out of their car... DECKED from head to toe in teal...  well let me tell you that just reliving it here with you now is bringing tears to my eyes.  It was the coolest thing I have ever experienced in my crafty life!!  I felt so much love and support.  It was the most amazing feeling ever!

We had teal lips (thanks to the teal cupcakes).

Miss Linda on the left there didn't get the memo about the wearing teal for the class... but she had a teal cup so she was under the force field of teal!!!
(thank goodness!!!)

We'll be doing another show from The Little Blue House in May and I promise you... it's going to be even better!  I had an ephipahany about what I wanted to do and the plans are already in the works!
(MUHAHAHAHA)

Holey smokes it's giveaway day!

This past weekend was completely craftily insane...  I had a LOT of project deadlines!

What to do...?
As RonChops and I were having breakfast (with several potential project elements on the table...  there were unfinished boxes, spools, flowers and ribbon nestled amongst the bacon and eggs...)  I was discussing various ideas with him (he'll never admit it, but he helps out me ALL the time with ideas).  As he was slathering yummy orange marmalade on his biscuits I was seriously fretting over what I would do for my post today..  suddenly he brilliantly proclaimed...  "you should just have a giveaway!"...  so here we have it folks...  by RonChops decree... it's giveaway day!

I am gonna give away 1 mega box of all sorts of craft supplies (I haven't even packed it up yet but I'll take a pic and share it with you guys next Monday)!  I promise it's gonna be loaded with fun crafty things (like knock your socks off fun crafty things)!  RonChops has authorized me to take the box to 10 pounds...  gulp.

Hi everyone!!  I have lots and lots to share today so I am just gonna don my crafty snorkel and dive right in!

Crate Paper Christmas Trees
I did a little tutorial on how to make the two of the Christmas trees I created for Crate Paper Summer 2010 CHA!  You can go check out the trees on their blog by following this link HERE (if you drop in over there pretty please leave me a little LollyChops lovin')!!!!

When I did the tutorial I ran out of sunlight so the pic posted on their blog is of one tree that's finished and one that's totally not finished.

LollyChops Classes at The Little Blue House 
I can finally share the projects I'll be teaching in October at The Little Blue House in Keller, TX!  We had the grand opening this past weekend and it was amazing to see so many folks come out to celebrate!  I got to meet two of you guys and give you some good old fashioned LC HUGS! (Hi Sharron and Linn...  I hope I didn't scare you with with all those random HUGS)!  hehehe

The first project is one I am OVER THE TOP excited about!

I saw a button covered pumpkin at CHA Summer (it's one I shared with you guys in this post HERE) and knew I had to make it!  The folks who displayed the project (The Craft Peddlers) published a little project sheet on exactly how to recreate it and I snapped it right up and got to work!  Miss Tracy (the owner of the LBH) and I will be teaching this class together cause we added in two more pumpkins to the mix!  So not only are we gonna teach how to make the button pumpkin, we also came up with two different finishes as well!  One is covered in metal from Ten Seconds Studio and the other is covered in fabric!  You'll walk away with your very own utterly fabulous Pumpkin Patch!

The other class I'll be teaching is one that's near and dear to my heart!  When Miss Tracy asked me what I wanted to teach I knew this project had to be one of the first ones!

It's a Bib Necklace of course!!!!
You knew this was coming right?!?!?!?!?!

I have only made what...  10 thousand of these things over the past 2 months!

In this class you'll learn how to make all but two of the flowers featured in this bib necklace!
These flowers will be made out of fabric and felt and will involve minimal sewing
(and some gluing as well).
We'll be embellishing them with pearls, buttons, felt green leaves and delicate lucite flower beads.
We'll be using two Sizzix dies (Circles #2 and 3d Flowers)

All materials to make the necklace will be provided!
All you'll need to bring is a super sharp pair of scissors, quick dry fabric glue like Helmar 450 and a hot glue gun (with at least 2 long glue sticks).
If you have a nice flat end pair of tweezers (like these HERE), bring those too...  they are not requred but can help along the way.

It's gonna be so much fun!

You can swap out the tags for each season and the blocks and pedestal serve as your base!

During the class she shares how to do the amazing image to fabric transfer technique!

This killer fall wreath has my name ALL over it!
Its loaded with fabric flowers galore, metal leaves and bright and sassy trims in fall colors!

Last to lastly...

I wanted to share this idea I got from Miss Susan over at the LBH!
I think this is the absolute perfect way to display the tag samples for your distress inks!

All you have to do is crumple the tags, ink the up and then hang them from a string using mini clothes pins! 

When I saw what she had created I ran home and made myself a hanging tag ink sample thingy too!
All I need to do now is add in the names of the inks as a little sticker on the front and I'll be set!

Some quick news!!!!
I am going to be teaching at a new place that's opening up in my area!  It's not a scrapbook store, it's more of an artist's workshop/studio!

It's called The Little Blue House and the grand opening is Sept. 23!
